A fish tank in the Dragon of the East's bedroom includes a statue of the Dragon Kings. They are colored with the palette of the Four Symbols, who are also linked with the cardinal directions
A young Ne Zha appears also appears in the fish tank.
The throne room has painting of Zhang Liang repeatedly placing a shoe on immortal Huang Shigong's foot, in order to show him determination, the Dragon of the East shows this painting to Monkey King in Journey to the West[2]
