Season 4[]
While confined within the Scroll of Memory, Pigsy, Tang, and Sandy found themselves imprisoned, their subconscious minds inhabiting the bodies of Zhu Ganglie, Tang Sanzang, and Sha Wujing. The state persisted for a considerable duration until they were finally awakened from their ancestors' bodies. Upon awakening, Pigsy, Tang, and Sandy were bestowed with the ancestral weapons, which were used in their mission to destroy the protective curse.
Once the Monkie Kids were liberated from the Scroll of Memory, Yellowtusk seized the ancient weapons, with the intention of employing them against the Celestial Realm. Utilizing the power of the weapons, Yellowtusk successfully transported the Brotherhood to the ethereal domain, where he wielded the weapons in a fierce confrontation against the Celestial Armies and the Monkie Kids.
The Emperor's Wrath[]
Yellowtusk occasionally used the ancestral weapons to help Azure maintain control of the Power of the Jade Emperor so the universe wouldn't be ripped apart. He continued to use them during his battle with Pigsy, Tang, and Sandy until he saw the universe being on the verge of destruction. Being inspired that there's still hope to fix things, Yellowtusk gives back the ancestral weapons to their respective owners, allowing them to upgrade to their Power-up armor.
By using the ancestral weapons, Pigsy, Sandy, and Tang were able to repair the magical barrier at Flower Fruit Mountain as Ne Zha sealed the Power of the Jade Emperor.
