History[]

The Storm Within[]

A snake enticed MK and Sandy to approach the Black Tortoise's domain. Aware of their quest for the blue Color Stone, the Black Tortoise proclaimed that they could only claim the stone if they demonstrated their worthiness. MK, confident that his acquisition of the red Color Stone from the Vermillion Bird had already proven his value, was met with the Black Tortoise's insistence that her trial is to master oneself rather than showing determination. The Black Tortoise decreed that their worth would be assessed through meditation, a notion that left MK frustrated. The Black Tortoise warned MK that failing to control the inner turmoil within him could lead to severe repercussions, not for himself, but for Sandy. The snake coiled tightly around Sandy, intensifying MK's struggle as he attempted to meditate, haunted by memories of past challenges. Breaking free from his focus, he saw the snake constricting Sandy, which drove him to unleash his monkey form and demand the Black Tortoise to release his friend. The Black Tortoise urged MK to regain control, and with Sandy's encouragement, he returned to meditation, confronting his monkey form. After successfully completing the trial, the Black Tortoise freed Sandy. Sandy confronted the Black Tortoise, questioning MK's worthiness once more. The Black Tortoise affirmed MK's worth, wishing him well and urging him to fulfill his destiny as she bestowed upon him the blue Color Stone before fading away.
