Bone Demon powers are a set of abilities that were used by Lady Bone Demon and her associates.
History[]
Past[]
When Lady Bone Demon was serving a mortal emperor, she wanted to guide him into creating a better world. When her plan failed, she wrecked havoc across the mortal realm, encasing the kingdom in blue crystals.
After Macaque's battle with Monkey King, he was killed, leaving his spirit to be trapped in the Underworld to suffer. Lady Bone Demon freed him, in exchange, Macaque swore an oath to aid her in the pursuit of equilibrium. Sensing her inevitable entrapment by the hands of the pilgrims, she crafted a mystical key capable of unlocking anything using her powers. She gifted it to Macaque to free her when the time came, but instead he threw it away.
Season 1[]
The Demon Bull Family were close to unlocking the tomb of which the Lady Bone Demon was imprisoned. An associate of her, made his move to free his master and gave the key to MK as a "gift of the city" before teleporting in a puff of blue smoke. This attempt of freeing her was successful as the tomb was opened and she possessed the most fitting of her powers: Demon Bull King.
MK returned from training with Monkey King, the others explained to him that after he left, the city was overrun by bull clones, which unbeknownst to them were controlled by Lady Bone Demon. The Monkie Kids battled through waves of bull clones, as this happened Lady Bone Demon manipulated Demon Bull King, tricking him into thinking Red Son was a traitor needed to be put down. Princess Iron Fan blocked the attack, exclaiming that the power has poisoned his mind. Out of nowhere, MK was launched into the Flaming Foundry, together with Red Son, and Princess Iron Fan they formed a truce and successfully destroyed the canisters, cleansing all possessed bull clones and Demon Bull King of her control. Lady Bone Demon sought a host for her power, she found a little girl, possessing thr child and initiating her next move.
Revenge of the Spider Queen[]
Lady Bone Demon appeared in the shadows of Silken Web Cave offering to help the Spider Queen perfect her venom. Spider Queen wanted to kill her at first, until she revealed the Bone Demon Potion of which she crafted, and of that point Spider Queen agreed.
Lady Bone Demon teleported to Monkey King, appearing with a terrifying shriek. Monkey King tried to attack her, but she dissappeared only leaving a blue mist behind. She surprised Monkey King, showing him a future of her destroying the mortal realm. As Monkey King tried to strike her, she teleported again, retrieving the Trigram Furnace from Flower Fruit Mountain.
Season 2[]
Lady Bone Demon confronted MK and Spider Queen. Using the spirits of the Spider Demons to attack them. Spider Queen held off Lady Bone Demon, allowing MK to escape.
Lady Bone Demon breathed spiritual energy into the furnace. She ordered the Spider Queen to be put in the furnace as the last ingredient, as black tendrils forcibly put her into the furnace. The bone mech was completed, releasing a blue beam of light alarming the Monkie Kids. Lady Bone Demon absorbed MK's powers, planning to trap him in crystal until she undid the memories of this world. Monkey King appeared, saving MK and escaping with him to find a weapon. Lady Bone Demon engulfed the city in crystals as MK and Monkey King flew away.
Season 3[]
The Mayor delivered Macaque to the Lady Bone Demon through a portal. She judged at why he had forsaken his oath and betrayed her. Macaque tried to defend himself but this act infuriated Lady Bone Demon leading her use her powers to show him the past and how she saved him from suffering in the Underworld. Lady Bone Demon gave Macaque one last chance, she made him her champion, and crafted the Bone Demon Compass as a tool to help him. Before Macaque left, she wanted to leave him a reminder, if he were to fail in any way, she would erase the very memory of him from the mortal realm. The Mayor pushed him into a portal starting his journey of hunting and capturing MK and Monkey King back to her.
Lady Bone Demon appeared inside the giant lantern, fulfilling her promise to Macaque. At the last second, he told her that the Monkie Kids had a weapon: the Samadhi Fire. Lady Bone Demon gave Macaque a second chance, but if time went on, her powers would leave him out of the equation.
The Monkie Kids narrowly escaped from the bone demon-powered Macaque, as they escaped crystals formed and engulfed the infrastructure and residents of Lantern City. Macaque interrupted Ne Zha's and Monkey King's short tussle, firing a crystal blast, engulfing them both and disarming Ne Zha. As the ritual started, Macaque travelled towards Mystic mountain, piloting his corrupted mech and beating MK senseless. Macaque exited his mech, quickly using the bone demon powers to grab Mei, leaving Tang responsible for his friend's life. Tang continued the ritual, Mei became the vessel of the Samadhi Fire, relieving Macaque of the Lady Bone Demon's powers and her control.
Embrace Your Destiny[]
Lady Bone Demon battled Monkey King throughout the sky as she frantically used her powers to stop Monkey King from his tracks. A bone demon-powered Mayor helped his lady, but was knocked unconscious by a swift attack. Lady Bone Demon nearing her end, as a last ditch effort she transferred the demon powers of the Mayor to Monkey King, possessing him.
Lady Bone Demon tasked Monkey King to remove the onlookers: Nezha and MK from her plans. Nezha warned MK to run, as he sensed his fate before Monkey King. Nezha was engulfed by crystals, while Monkey King turned his attention to his protégé. As he was about to share the same fate as Nezha, he was slipped away by Macaque's shadow portal. MK came to Mei and Red Son, bringing the news of the corrupted Monkey King. Red Son suspected Lady Bone Demon may have located the temple. As he made this revelation, Lady Bone Demon appeared, as Monkey King dismantled Red Son's and MK's last stand to protect Mei, transferring her to the Crystal Chamber.
Lady Bone Demon stored Mei inside a massive crystal, as she waited for Mei to willingly give the Samadhi Fire. Macaque and MK tried to retrieve the Golden Staff, Lady Bone Demon sent out Monkey King to prepare for the duo's next move. Macaque and Monkey King battled throughout the sky, MK sensing the oppurtinity, reached out for the staff. His efforts were in vain, Macaque was defeated and Monkey King was approaching rapidly. As a last ditch effort, MK broke through the Monkey King's possession, angering Lady Bone Demon and as a result, releasing her host body.
Abilities[]
- Bone Constructs - Lady Bone Demon can create bones and turn it into different shapes, and is mostly used to encase someone or something in it. Moreover, she can generate real skeletons by expelling spiritual energy.[1]
- Crystallokinesis - The user can create, shape, and manipulate blue crystals. Like Lady Bone Demon's bone constructs, and is mostly used to encase someone or something in it.
- Spiritual avatars - The user can control the spirits of their victims.
- Possession - The user can take over the body of other beings. Once they do so, they can use the ability to fully control the person.
