Pigsy and Tang were arguing over which carrots were considered perfect for his cooking. Spider Queen noticed their squabbling so she invited them over to buy her ingredients. When Pigsy asked if she was selling beautiful vegetables, Tang took a look at her supplies, which included a moldy carrot, and became suspicious.
After they got captured, Spider Queen added carrots and other greens to her cauldron while preparing dinner.
Cooking with Chang'e[]
The carrots were an ingredient used during Chang'e's show.

When a couple of demons were trying to cook Tang Sanzang, they threw a carrot along with other animals and vegetables into the pot of soup.
