The Celestial Armies are the imperial troopers of the Celestial Realm.
History[]
Past[]
The Celestial Warriors were formed in the Celestial Realm as they served the Jade Emperor and the other members of the Celestial Court. They were often sent to the Mortal realm to help humans recover after disastrous events. However, a warrior, by the name of Azure Lion departed from the group. He believed the Jade Emperor's responsibility as a ruler was not met, with the Celestial Host drawing more concern to maintaining his control over his subjects.
Havoc in Heaven[]
The Celestial Armies along with the help of the Third Lotus Prince, Ne Zha, were tasked with capturing the Monkey King after he rebelled against the Celestial Host. They engaged in a fight with the Monkey King but ultimately failed in capturing him as he retreated to Flower Fruit Mountain.
Assault on the Celestial Realm[]
The Celestial Armies with the aid of the Celestial Court launched an attack on the combined might of the Brotherhood. Victory was nearing for the rebellion, until the Jade Emperor joined the battle and engaged Monkey King in a duel. The Celestial Host was victorious in the duel, striking down Monkey King. As this happened, Celestial Warriors surrounded Peng, Macaque, Yellowtusk, and Azure Lion, forcing them to surrender.
Season 4[]
The Celestial Armies were warned by Red Son about the Brotherhood's upcoming assault on the Celestial Realm. Although they joined Ne Zha and Red Son in the battle, most of the Celestial Warriors were sucked into the Scroll of Memory, resulting in the rest of them to retreat.
Season 5[]
After the final standoff with the Brotherhood, Li Jing became the new leader of the Celestial Realm. Due to his new role, Celestial Warriors were now under his leadership and command. Li Jing stationed the guards near the prison cell where MK, Macaque and Monkey King were imprisoned. When the prisoners escaped their cell, the guards attempted to stop them. Though their efforts were in vain, as Monkey King and Macaque easily incapacitated their forces. Li Jing followed them to the mortal realm with an army of Celestial Guards, but the Monkie Kids escaped.
The Celestial Warriors were seen patrolling around the festival grounds with Ne Zha. After the Monkie Kids were spotted by Ne Zha, a group of guards blocked their path. Mei easily dismantled their forces, while Ne Zha pursued them.
Celestial Warriors were seen repairing the Celestial Realm after the destruction during the Brotherhood's assault.
