Demons lived in all realms of the universe, those who lived in the mortal realm killed and consumed humans for sustenance. Demons are born with supernatural abilities, allowing them to conjure magic, unlike other beings. Due to their supernatural abilities, demons were often feared as monsters by humans.

[[Azure Lion|Some]] [[Yellowtusk|dem]][[Peng|ons]] became agents of the [[Celestial Realm]], tasked with maintaining the peace at the order of the [[Jade Emperor]]. These agents later became discontent with the rule of the Jade Emperor, viewing it as neglectful to regular mortals. They departed from the realm, becoming [[The Brotherhood|sworn brothers]] with the [[Mystic Monkeys|mystic monkey]], [[Monkey King|Sun Wukong]] and two [[Macaque|other]] [[Demon Bull King|demons]]. The Brotherhood staged a [[Assault on the Celestial Realm|coup]] against the Heavenly Host, planning to usurp the Jade Emperor and replace him with Monkey King. Demon Bull King dueled with [[Princess Iron Fan]], the two of them falling in love with each other. Despite the Demon Bull King's reluctance to fight, they nearly succeeded but their underestimation of the Jade Emperor's strength proved to be their downfall.

During the Journey to the West, the [[pilgrims]] had to endure the multiple attacks from demons who wanted to consume [[Tang Sanzang]]'s flesh in a bid to gain immortality. On the journey, Tang Sanzang recruited the help of two demons: [[Zhu Bajie]], a restaurant owner that cooked the flesh of humans, and [[Sha Wujing]], the guardian of the [[Flowing Sands River]].

At an unspecified point in the journey, the Six-Eared Macaque, fought Monkey King, his own best friend. This duel resulted in his death and subsequent imprisonment within the [[Underworld]]. However, an ancient demon named [[Lady Bone Demon]], with dreams to reshape the mortal realm into one without pain and suffering, freed Macaque. Though her involvement had a price, Macaque swore an oath to free her from her foretold imprisonment by the pilgrims. She entrusted him with the [[Skeleton Key (Key)|Skeleton Key]], a mystical artifact that allows any lock to be opened, even [[Seals|mystical seals]].

The pilgrims encountered the Lady Bone Demon, as she posed a threat towards the prosperity of the world. Sun Wukong bested her in combat. As he prepared to eliminate the demon, Tang Sanzang granted her mercy. The Great Monk sealed her in an [[Bone Demon Crypt|ancient tomb]] where she would rest until she could learn the error of her ways. Macaque learned of this imprisonment, just as she anticipated, but instead of freeing her as promised, he left to enact his vengeance on the Monkey King.

The companions would inquire about the infant [[Red Son]], whose parents were Demon Bull King and Princess Iron Fan. As Red Son matured, he brought forth the [[Samadhi Fire]], an inextinguishable flame, capable of burning the fabric of reality.<ref>{{Cite episode|311}}</ref> The [[Demon Bull Family]] was forced to liberate the fire from his body. Accompanied by Demon Bull King, [[Ne Zha]] and Monkey King, the Great Monk sealed the fire in three [[Rings of Samadhi|rings]] and gave them the responsibility of hiding the three rings.

Demon Bull King left the Underworld, attacking a nearby village and demolishing everything that stood in his way. Sun Wukong appeared to stop his rampage, they engaged in a vicious battle, using both of their abilities to try and overpower the other. Sun Wukong defeated Demon Bull King, using a [[Demon Hill|nearby mountain]] and [[Golden Staff|his staff]] to seal him in the Underworld for eternity. After his family learned of this news, they sought to free him and take revenge on the Monkey King.

The Demon Bull Family located the exact location the Demon Bull King was sealed. An older Red Son, manufactured the [[Red Son's Power Glove|Power Glove]], a device designed to bend the Monkey King's staff to their will. Red Son freed the Demon Bull King from his Underworld imprisonment. Though [[MK]], Monkey King's chosen successor, stole the staff and escaped the demon family. Red Son chased MK, but was unable to capture him due to [[Mei]]'s interference. Red Son returned to the site, refurbishing it as their new [[Flaming Foundry|headquarters]] and building [[the Furnace]], a specialized armor that absorbs rare objects to create energy.

Demon Bull King found and absorbed multiple objects to grow even stronger and finally take his revenge. Meanwhile the Monkie Kids, ventured to [[Flower Fruit Mountain]] to try and return the Monkey King's staff. [[General Ironclad]], leader of the [[Bull Clones]], saw the departure of the group and informed Red Son. Princess Iron Fan was informed and decided to acquire the staff herself. The opposing sides would meet at the [[Flaming Mountains]], where she easily disarmed MK and retrieved the staff for her love. Princess Iron Fan presented the staff to Demon Bull King, the Furnace absorbed it. With the energy provided by the staff, Demon Bull King would grow ever larger and used several cybernetic enhancements to enhance his body.

The Monkie Kids would attempt to fight the Demon Bull Family by themselves only to be interrupted by Red Son, who threatened them using [[pyrokinesis|his powers]]. MK returned from his encounter with the Monkey King, determined to defeat the Demon Bull Family once and for all. MK rode his motorcycle towards the Demon Bull King, dodging multiple attacks. During this situation, MK inadvertently activated his [[Gold Vision]], allowing him to see the staff and finally bring it back. Demon Bull King was shocked by the similarities of MK and Monkey King, MK nearly sealed him again but he failed when Demon Bull King counterattacked and thrown afar. MK created the [[Monkey Mech (Warrior Mech)|Monkey Mech]] as a final move to defeat the Demon Bull King, slamming him into the ground, leaving him incapacitated as a result. Red Son tried to lure MK into fighting without his mech, but was exhausted and fainted into a ditch. Princess Iron Fan retrieved her husband and son, and left to return to the Flaming Foundry.

Demon Bull King lashed out at his humiliation by the Monkie Kid. Red Son attempted a hostile takeover of the [[Weather Station]] to return his father to his former glory. Red Son asserted his appreciation for MK's lack of fighting capability, he tied MK's friends while he harnessed the power of the Weather Station. MK returned to fight Red Son after Monkey King permanently sealed his powers. Red Son was able to overpower MK, until he inadvertently activated his Gold Vision once again. MK used his staff as a rod and electrocuted the enemy force, decimating the bull clones, forcing Red Son to retreat. As Demon Bull King lashed out again at Red Son's defeat by the Monkie Kid, he would reveal the Lady Bone Demon's tomb. The Demon Bull Family were fascinated by the power that could be within, so they devoted all their time to opening it.

==== [[Noodles or Death]] ====
[[Spider Queen]], a demon defeated by Sun Wukong during the Journey to the West reappeared in Megapolis. She disguised herself as a stall owner and kidnapped [[Tang]] and [[Pigsy]] as dinner. [[Sandy]], Mei and MK attempted a rescue mission, but they would be momentarily thwarted by Spider Queen. Until Tang and Pigsy learnt to work together as a team to save MK and return back home.

==== [[Calabash]] ====

MK was tasked to deliver a batch of noodles to an [[Jin and Yin's hideout|abandoned theater]]. Unbeknownst to MK, the [[Gold and Silver Demons]], [[Jin]] and [[Yin]], orchestrated this plot to imprison him within the [[Calabash]], an artifact capable of creating an alternate reality. MK arrived at the theater, the demons asked a question regarding his name, MK responded, causing him to be contained within the artifact. Jin and Yin constantly tried to convince MK that this reality was in fact his own. MK grew more suspicious and traveled towards the Flaming Foundry to retrieve the Golden Staff from the mountain. Jin and Yin again tried to convince MK that retrieving the staff would unleash the sealed Demon Bull Family on the world. During this, they accidentally revealed their identity, causing MK to finally retrieve the staff and confront the perpetrators. The demons then escaped from the scene.  

==== [[The Great Wall Race]] ====

Red Son was intrigued by a poster regarding the [[Great Wall Race]], a race in which the winner would be rewarded with a "[[Peaches of Immortality|Peach of Immortality]]." His parents, however, scolded him as they devoted their efforts to uncovering the tomb. Red Son decided to participate in the race despite his parents' disapproval. His parents also participated the race, to shut down their son's hopes for winning. The Gold and Silver Demons were ready for the competition, until the Demon Bull Family's arrival, but the demons would become the commentators of the competition. The parents were knocked out of the race due to the Demon Bull King's stubbornness after remembering his imprisonment under a mountain. After losing the race to the duo, MK and Red Son would be informed that the peach was a metaphor for their immortal recognition within the Great Wall.   

==== [[Impossible Delivery]] ====
[[Demon Kids|Three demons]] disguised themselves as children to lure unsuspecting victims into their match of soccer and imprison them forever. Though MK joined them at first, he remembered his goal of delivering a batch of noodles and left the children. The demons then transformed back to their normal forms, discussing how MK knew their plan. A civilian walked nearby, and the demons tried to execute their plan another time.

The Demon Bull Family finally unearthed the tomb, but as the Demon Bull King tried to open it, it was sealed. Red Son acquired knowledge of the Skeleton Key and sought to use it to open the tomb. Meanwhile, the [[Mayor|Chief of War]] influenced by Lady Bone Demon, transitioned into the Mayor of [[Megapolis]], and bestowed the Skeleton Key to MK. Red Son hid in [[MK's house]] for an opportunity while MK was enjoying the spoils of the Skeleton Key. As MK returned to his house, Red Son surprised both MK and Mei. He judged the living conditions of MK, before he stole the key and fled from the scene. Mei chased in hot pursuit of Red Son. They dueled on the highway until [[Race car|Red Son's race car]] was destroyed by MK's Golden Staff. Princess Iron Fan appeared to collect the key once and for all for her love. Mei and MK attempted to tag team Princess Iron Fan, but were defeated because of her more experienced fighting capabilities. Red Son collected the key, while Princess Iron Fan urged him to return back to the Flaming Foundry as they were required. Demon Bull King opened the tomb and Lady Bone Demon possessed him as he was the most fitting host for her plans.  

==== [[Macaque (Episode)|Macaque]] ====

Macaque planned to gain the trust of MK and ultimately betray him to absorb the Monkey King's powers and initiate his long-awaited revenge. Macaque sent the [[Smoke Monster]] to lay siege on the city, Pigsy confronted the monster armed with only a spoon, but was swiftly hurled to the ground and laid incapacitated. MK was contacted by Mei to stop the entity before it does further harm, MK quickly rushed in to confront the beast, but was defeated in the same manner as Pigsy. Macaque appeared to confront the beast, seemingly causing the entity to retreat. MK was intrigued by the mysterious figure and questioned to teach him the path to unlocking the same ability that defeated the Smoke Monster. As the two walked away, Macaque turned the logo on the back of MK's jacket into a seal to funnel his powers. The duo trained in [[Macaque's lair|Macaque's dojo]] and taught him to use his anger when fighting until the seal nearly channeled all of Monkey King's powers. Macaque and MK ventured towards [[Warrior Mountain]] where he tricked him into facing the Smoke Monster alone, the entity then caught MK off guard, stealing his powers and delivering it to Macaque. Macaque absorbed it, gaining enough strength to enact his revenge, Monkey King appeared to put an end to this and save MK from this fate. Monkey King and Macaque engaged in a duel, resulting in MK's life being put on the line, Monkey King tried his best to fight Macaque without hurting MK. Macaque was angered from this fact, stating that if he had not gotten so soft, he would have destroyed the entire mountain range to stop him. MK remembered his previous lesson with Monkey King, where he would use it to defeat Macaque and the Smoke Monster.

In the midst of MK's session of training with the Monkey King, Demon Bull King, possessed by Lady Bone Demon, would conquer the city with an army of possessed bull clones. The Monkie Kids adapted to the new environment, protecting MK and informing him of the current situation. Meanwhile at the Flaming Foundry, Demon Bull King discovered that MK had arrived in the city. Red Son announced to his father that he should confront the group himself. Demon Bull King, under the influence of Lady Bone Demon, asserted that his involvement only brought failure and disappointment. Lady Bone Demon convinced Demon Bull King his son was a traitor deceiving him. Princess Iron Fan stopped her husband from causing her to their son, asserting that she did not desire to hurt him. Demon Bull King was angered by her interference, battling his own family while Lady Bone Demon corrupted him. MK arrived to put an end to this, unaware of the dispute that happened beforehand. Princess Iron Fan communicated that the canisters and the power inside had took control over his body. Together with the Monkie Kid, Princess Iron Fan and Red Son destroyed the canisters and Demon Bull King was put back to his senses, reuniting with his family. Lady Bone Demon sought a new host to fulfill her destiny, she found an unsuspecting [[little girl]] to possess.  

===[[Revenge of the Spider Queen]]===

Spider Queen collaborated with a [[Syntax|human scientist]] to create a delivery mechanism for her to spread [[Spider Queen's venom|her venom]] to the citizens. MK's hair was brewed into a vat of her venom, but the [[Spider-Bots|Spider-Bot]] malfunctioned due to the venom not having the correct prerequisite. Spider Queen nearly lost all faith in her plan. Suddenly a mysterious girl appeared in the [[Silken Web Cave]], offering her assistance to fulfill her destiny as a queen. Spider Queen was close to killing the girl, until she revealed the [[Bone Demon Potion]], Spider Queen was in shock at the fact that she hadn't seen this elixir for years. Spider Queen allowed the girl to brew the potion into her venom, successfully allowing the Spider-Bot to function. She tested the bot on the scientist, turning him into a [[Spider Demons|Spider Demon]], she then started her plan to rebuild her empire. The Spider Demons and the mysterious girl concealed themselves in the [[New Year's]] parade. She then unveiled her army of robotic spiders, turning the denizens into her [[Spider zombies|slaves]] and creating the [[Spider mech]] as their base of operations. Monkey King and MK went to confront the ongoing invasion, but due to MK's arachnophobia, Monkey King confronted the demon queen alone. Spider Queen taunted him by stating that he had left his five-hundred year retirement to fight her. The two fought each other, until Spider Queen hid herself in the shadows of the mech. Monkey King seemingly spotted an opening for the Spider Queen but lunged towards the mysterious girl, at first he was confused about this girl's appearance, but after she used [[Bone Demon powers|her powers]] to show that she was the Lady Bone Demon, he was terrified. Spider Queen used her [[Web Generation|webs]] to entangle the Monkey King and power the Spider mech.

The Spider Queen nearly captured all demons residing in Megapolis, using them as batteries to power the Spider mech alongside Monkey King. Red Son and Demon Bull King worked at a [[Demon Bull Family's food stand|food stand]] that sold spicy street food to the customers. The [[Store Owner|Shoe Store Assistant]] complained about the food's spice, stating that it had burnt his taste buds. The assistant wanted to speak to the manager, but after he revealed that his father was in fact the manager of this establishment, the assistant swiftly left. Spider Queen used her webs and extract DBK's powers. Red Son was attacked by a Spider-Bot but was able to destroy it and retrieve its venom, where he flew away on his [[Inferno Jet]] towards the Monkie Kids. After DBK awakened, he was worried about his wife, Spider Queen reassured him that they had not captured her yet, but they planned on capturing her later. She taunted him by revealing Monkey King's presence within the mech, where he would be reminded of their feud. Syntax and [[Huntsman]] arrived to tell news of Red Son. DBK expected his son's capture, expressing disappointment. Though after Huntsman revealed his escape, DBK expressed his pride over his son. Syntax amassed multiple rockets to bring down Red Son, but due to his expertise in vehicles, he was able to leave unscathed. Red Son arrived at the [[Team Dronecopter]], Sandy perceived him as a threat and protected his friends. After learning he was Red Son, he dropped him, where Mei and the others pinned him to the ground. They questioned if he was allied to the Spider Demons, where he angrily declined. He showed them the venom and how he, with the right ingredients could create an [[Antidote to the Spider Queen's venom|antidote]] to cure the citizens and save his father.

Red Son figured the ingredients he needed was only available in the Celestial Realm, so he used a seal to transport them to the realm. Red Son needed the [[Lao Tzu's pills|Pills of Immortality]] created by [[Lao Tzu]], a [[Peaches of Immortality|Peach of Immortality]] from the [[Heavenly Orchard]], and the [[Trigram Furnace]]. Tang and Pigsy ventured to [[Lao Tzu's alchemy lab]], while Red Son and Mei went to the orchard to acquire the peach, and MK travelled towards the [[Celestial Palace]] to retrieve the furnace. Huntsman and the [[Strong Spider]] followed the group to the realm to foil their plan and secure their victory. Mei and Red Son sneaked towards the orchard, passing through the peach maidens, acquiring the peach easily. The Strong Spider confronted the duo, believing Mei to be Red Son's girlfriend, threatening them by stating that he would bring them to the Spider Queen. Red Son and Mei were offended that he would believe the both are a couple, Red Son used his fire to blind the Spider Demon and escaped with the peach in hand. Huntsman confronted Pigsy and Tang, Tang searched for a way to protect himself and found a bottle with the label of a duck, alarming the Spider Demon and Pigsy responded by preparing for battle with a makeshift nunchuck made from sausages. Tang threw the bottle, landing on the ground with sounds of a duck, then multiple vine-like tendrils dragged Huntsman deep in the ground. Tang and Pigsy escaped with the pills in hand while MK retrieved the furnace, pursued by [[Lion Guardians]]. The group nearly left before MK could arrive at the dronecopter, but after making a leap of faith, he and the others left the realm.

The mysterious girl warned the Spider Queen that Red Son and MK formed an alliance to stop her. Spider Queen believed victory was all but completed, she urged the Spider Demons for a celebration of their victory. Red Son brewed the ingredients with the Trigram Furnace, creating the antidote needed to cure the citizens and save his father. Red Son and MK cured the citizens, but were unable to defeat Spider Queen, as she channeled all the stolen power from the demons to defeat the alliance. Monkey King remembered Demon Bull King's love for his family during his chat with Spider Queen. So Monkey King insulted his family, leading to the webs breaking and freeing all the demons trapped. Demon Bull King went to save his son from the spider menace. Monkey King reminisced of their time together as friends, until the mysterious girl arrived, appearing with a terrifying screech, alarming the Monkey King. Monkey King and the mysterious girl who was actually Lady Bone Demon, discussed on what her ultimate plan was. She told him that her plan had much more moves to be played, angered, Monkey King said that she should have stayed buried in the tomb. Monkey King attempted to strike Lady Bone Demon, but to no avail, she reappeared behind Monkey King, showing him a terrible vision of her using the Samadhi Fire to kill MK and destroy the world. Lady Bone Demon teleported and retrieved the Trigram Furnace on Flower Fruit Mountain. Monkey King saved MK from the Spider Queen, telling MK that it was now or never. Monkey King threw MK towards the Spider mech, completely destroying it, Demon Bull King protected the two from the fall. While Red Son blocked the oncoming explosion from the mech. Red Son and Demon Bull King discussed to never explain this encounter to Princess Iron Fan, while calling him his son which Red Son was proud of. Red Son used his pyrokinesis to transport them to their home, while the others celebrated.

Lady Bone Demon planned to create the [[Bone mech]], an enormous creation to conquer the world. Spider Queen believed that the mech would once more, bring her to her former glory as conqueror. An ingredient of the Bone mech was the [[Locked box]] which was located in [[the Cloud]]. [[Guardians of Knowledge|Fearsome beings]] however, guarded the knowledge inside the Cloud, beings that could not be defeated by brute force. Syntax created the [[Sleep Bug (game)|Sleep Bug]], a game that made its users fall asleep, including the guardians. Syntax encountered MK but secured the Locked box and left the Cloud before the guardians could reawaken. Lady Bone Demon opened the Locked box using the Skeleton Key, projecting the ingredients necessary.

==== [[Dumpling Destruction]] ====

Huntsman was tasked with collecting the [[Demon-revealing mirror]] in the [[Treasure Room]] of [[Shuilian Cave]]. Huntsman tried to access the cave but was deterred by the seal on the waterfall. He waited for Tang and MK to open the cave before sneaking to find the mirror. Huntsman engaged in a battle with MK, using his web to grab a sword and use it as a whip. He and MK agreed to a truce, with him leaving the duo alone and retrieving the mirror for the mech. Huntsman presented the mirror to Spider Queen. The mirror revealed to Huntsman that the mysterious girl to be the Lady Bone Demon, but he was too terrified to tell the Spider Queen about her identity.

==== [[Sweet 'n' Sour]] ====

The Gold and Silver Demons created a company called [[Speedy Panda]] to out compete [[Pigsy's Noodles]] in hopes for MK to lose his source of income and finally defeat him. The demons challenged Pigsy's Noodles to [[Food Wars]], a competition that decides the superior restaurant. The first challenge was to supply their deliverer with the correct ingredients and reach the restaurant in the fastest time possible. The brothers supplied the driver with the microwavable food and ordered multiple drivers to participate in the race, emerging as the winners of the first challenge. The second challenge was prepare their food and give them to three judges, one of which was Princess Iron Fan, who was compelled to come because of a blood oath. The microwaved food was presented to the judges, but due to their shared history, Princess Iron Fan voted for the brothers, Pigsy's Noodles ended up emerging as the victor in this challenge. In the third challenge, the mascots of their respective restaurants would fight for the superior restaurant to be decided. The demons had the [[Panda Bot]] while Pigsy's Noodles had the [[tuk-tuk]]. Pigsy and MK transformed into the [[Noodle Tank]], with Tang they engaged in a fight with the demons, but before the battle could escalate the [[Demon Accountant|brothers' accountant]] urged them to stop as they had gone bankrupt and cannot afford to pay the drivers. The drivers were angry about their forgotten salaries and had beaten up the demons.

Lady Bone Demon prepares the Bone mech, while Spider Queen's patience was exhausted from the its long construction. Lady Bone Demon assured the Spider Queen that this would return her to her former glory. Spider Queen heard the voice of MK inside the Silken Web Cave and decided to try and take her revenge once again. This gave Lady Bone Demon a brief amount of time to create a scheme to retrieve the Golden Staff. MK learned the art of shrinking, but was confronted by Spider Queen, he turned himself into a miniature form and ran away. Because of his small size, he had escaped the Spider Queen's wrath and prepared to escape. Until he heard the cries of a young girl, he asked the girl why she was in the sewers, in which she responded that he was the Monkie Kid and lured him towards the Trigram Furnace. She told him that the Bone mech was something the Spider Queen plans to unleash unto the world. MK was convinced and attempted to use the Golden Staff and destroy it. His [[MK's self-reflection|self-reflection]] frantically warned him to stop, where he catches on to the Lady Bone Demon's trick and notices the Trigram Furnace. Despite the Lady Bone Demon's pleas he uses his Gold Vision to find the Trigram surrounded in her aura. He remembers the Demon Bull King's corruption and the enhanced strength of Spider Queen, during their respective fights and figures that this was the demon responsible. She introduces herself as the Lady Bone Demon and causes major headaches to try and convince MK to drop his staff. MK was schocked and her deceivement, she responds by telling him that her countless disguises had fooled many. This angers MK, who proceeds to tell her that he would tell Monkey King and he will defeat her. Lady Bone Demon laughs at Mk not knowing that she and Monkey King had crossed paths before. She tells him that Monkey king had left him to find a new successor, she repeats the same words MK told her, "It's scary being alone," before choking MK. Spider Queen disrupts Lady Bone Demon, she lunges towards MK, who shrinks himself, and Lady Bone Demon uses her powers to stop her approach, launching her into a wall. MK escapes but is still haunted by his experience with the Lady Bone Demon.

MK, Mei, Pigsy and Tang hung out and decided to watch a [[shadow play]]. Macaque orchestrated the event, using his [[Magic lantern]] to absorb the [[shadows]] of the trio while MK was buying enough snacks for the play. When MK returned to the play he noticed the others had gone missing but didn't think much of it. He was enamored by the lantern, Macaque used it to tell the story of "[[The Hero and the Warrior|''The Hero and the Warrior'']]", a personal retelling of his broken friendship with the Monkey King. MK went on to reminisce of his relationship with the Monkey King, he believed he was the "''Warrior''" in the story, the one that was left behind by his friend for power. Macaque as the shadow puppeteer proposed that he was not seeing the point of the story, implying that he was the "''Hero,"'' the one who left his friends for greater power. He tranformed into a replica of the Monkey King to further torment him. Macaque learned MK's deepest insecurites under his rouse, as he laughed at the sight of him. MK lost his temper and attempted to attack him, Macaque caught the attack, proclaiming that he had grown more in strength since the last time they met. MK learned of Macaque's identity as the puppeteer, realizing that he had heard everything he said to 'Monkey King.' He revealed that his friends were hidden from MK and that he didn't care about them to care for their dissappearance. Macaque used the shadow counterparts of the trio that were contained in the lantern to attack MK as he watched on the stage. Macaque laughed maniacally at MK's struggle, but as MK tried to strike him, he was thus reminded of his own battle with the Monkey King, exclaiming that he had enough. He broke the lantern and returned the trio to their bodies. MK went on to pursue and interrogate Macaque on why he did that, Macaque admitted that it was a pleasure to watch the suffering that MK experienced. He warned MK of a being that not even him could defeat, he returned to reconstruct the lantern. He was greeted by the Mayor, who was sent to collect the lantern as an ingredient of the Bone mech. The Mayor forced Macaque to comply and stole the lantern.

A [[Demon Chef|demon]] diguised as a chef and hosted a beef ball eating competition. MK heard of the competition and against the wishes of Pigsy, he joined the competition and ate five hundred beef balls. The demon [[Curse|cursed]] the meatballs which left MK to hiccup uncontrollably, in more powerful bursts. Huntsman was tasked by Lady Bone Demon to retrieve the [[Crimson jimson weed]] which only blooms under the light of a crimson moon, and is located in the [[Mystic Jungle of the Emerald Lynx]]. Hunstman tracked Sandy towards the mountain and destroyed his marks. He confonted Sandy, tempting him to show his true potential as a fighter. Huntsman was terrified from Sandy's pure strength, when he decimated a large portion of a mountain, while leaving Huntsman unscathed. Despite all of this, he snatched a part of the plant and gave the piece to Lady Bone Demon. He questioned why he was being tasked to do this by the Lady Bone Demon, she seemed distraught by the fact that he only asked this question at this point. She revealed that he was merely his role in her game.

The Spider Queen plotted to rebuild the Spider mech and retake the city once more. They stole the sign of Pigsy's Noodles to construct the mech, which attracted the attention of MK. MK entered the cave once more and confronted the Spider Demons. In their attempt to find MK, the Spider Demons would spread all throughout the cave to find him. At this very moment, Lady Bone Demon decided to finally rid the Spider Demons as they served no purpose to her plans, with the exception of Spider Queen. She ordered the Mayor to kill them which he promptly followed and acted upon. MK would destroy all that's left of the Spider mech, which infuriated Spider Queen. During this confrontation, Lady Bone Demon appeared towards the duo, using the spirits of the deceased demons to capture Spider Queen, as MK escaped to Pigsy's Noodles.

Spider Queen was captured and held prisoner by the Lady Bone Demon. She planned to sacrifice the queen to the Trigram Furnace as the last ingredient to create the Bone mech. The Spider Queen pleaded to spare her as she was promised her 'destiny,' Lady Bone Demon spoke that this was her destiny. Spider Queen was fed to the Trigram Furnace and the Bone mech was finally completed. The Bone Spider approached the Monkie Kids on its own. MK managed to dismantle the mech, but lost the ability to alter his size and manipulate chi. As the Bone Spider was seemingly destroyed, the Lady Bone Demon rebuilt it as the Bone Scorpion and piloted it. MK thought to use his clones to outnumber the Lady Bone Demon, but they were swiftly taken out. That was when Tang realized that MK's powers were being stolen and assimilated into Lady Bone Demon's own arsenal. She taunted MK's attempt to use Gold Vision and shrink himself as she relentlessly stole his abilities. MK tried to use his Monkey Mech to defeat her but it was already to late, the Bone mech was completed and assumed its final stage. As the Monkey Mech was decimated, MK tried to use his Golden Staff to fight the Lady Bone Demon. She drained his powers, leaving MK unable to wield the staff. Monkey King managed to return to MK before he was frozen in crystal, but due to his damaged state from fighting Ne Zha, he was unable to fight her directly. Monkey King escaped with MK using his remaining energy and decided to battle her another day. Monkey King then explained that he had found a map leading to the Rings of Samadhi, which when combined, would create the Samadhi Fire. He and the others agreed to find the rings and reforge the flame to defeat Lady Bone Demon.

After Lady Bone Demon's takeover of Megapolis, she tasked the Mayor to bring Macaque to her. Macaque is brought to Lady Bone Demon to discuss his actions of betrayal towards her. Macaque tried to defend himself to no avail, however, she offered him one final chance: he must capture Monkey King and MK and she will spare him from her plans to destroy the mortal realm. Macaque was entrusted with a compass to track his targets' movement and promptly followed his new mission.

==== [[On the Run]] ====
Macaque suddenly appeared on the Team Dronecopter and quickly subdued MK and Monkey King. Mei intervened and allowed them to escape from Macaque's grasp, though was unable to hit him with her energy blasts. Macaque cornered them, but MK thought to jam a rotor of the Dronecopter and cause Macaque to fall in the coming explosion. MK acted on his plan and succeeded in escaping from Macaque, but because the rotor was damaged, it resulted in the Dronecopter falling into the [[East Sea]]. 

==== [[Great Grand Dragon of the East]] ====
After the Monkie Kids were found by the [[Dragon of the East]], Macaque found their location and proceeded to lay siege to the [[Dragon Palace of the East Sea]]. To let the Monkie Kids escape, Ao Guang decided to fight Macaque which resulted in an enormous undersea explosion. 

==== [[Smartie Kid]] ====
The Monkie Kids succeeded in escaping from Macaque and were traveling through the desert. But they have to stop their search when the [[T.E.A.]] suddenly breaks down. They hallucinate due to dehydration and wander into the [[Goldfish Demon]]. To repair the van, the Monkie Kids ask for an engine to repair it, but they don't have enough money to pay for it. The Goldfish Demon gave them an option to participate in his game to get the engine for free, but at a cost of sometihng of value. MK volunteers, but loses many times, causing them to lose their possessions in the process. MK then offers his friends, and figures out that the game was a scam by using his Gold Vision. After learning the truth, the Monkie Kids forcibly take the engine from the Goldfish Demon. 

==== [[The Winning Side]] ====
Macaque left the East Sea and followed the Monkie Kids to a desert. He recalled his past experience with Lady Bone Demon and was determined to capture MK and Monkey King. Macaque created a perfect copy of the T.E.A. and tricked Mei, Sandy and MK to go inside it. Macaque used his shadows to isolate MK from the others that were inside the fake T.E.A.. He taunted MK, before restraining him with his shadows. While these events are transpiring, an unknown demon stalks and tries to attack Pigsy, Tang and Monkey King. Meanwhile, Mei managed to free herself by using her dracokinesis to destroy the fake van. Macaque used his powers to create a [[Macaque's Mech|mech]] with the destroyed parts and quickly defeated both Mei and Sandy. During this short scuffle, MK learned to use his 72 transformations and distracted Macaque long enough to escape. 

==== [[Amnesia Rules]] ====
The demon continued to attack the T.E.A., Tang and Pigsy began to panic. Pigsy chose to use the [[Chaos Ultra Ghost Pepper of Doom]] to wake Monkey King up from his meditation. After eating the pepper, Monkey King chased the demon away. He began to act like his younger self and called Tang and Pigsy, Tang Sanzang and Zhu Bajie respectively. He had an argument with Pigsy which allowed the demon to kidnap Tang. The demon put Tang in her [[Scorpion Queen's castle|castle]] and disguised herself as a beautiful maiden to keep Tang from escaping. Though Tang was suspicious, after revealing that a banquet was prepared, he immediately stayed in her castle. In the morning, Monkey King broke in her castle and revealed that the maiden was the [[Scorpion Queen]] and engaged in a fight against her. Tang stopped the fight and reasoned with her, which revealed that all she wanted was a friend to talk to. Monkey King had an idea to let [[Tudi]] stay at her castle to give her company. 

==== [[The First Ring]] ====
Because of their hasty escape, MK, Mei and Sandy were left wandering across the desert while on the verge of collapse. Red Son found them and allowed them to stay at his family's fortress for the time. He asked why they were venturing out, MK responded by saying that they were looking for the Samadhi Fire, which left Red Son flabbergasted. At this moment, DBK and Princess Iron Fan joined for dinner and were shocked by the matter of the Samadhi Fire. They explained the origins of the flame, revealing that Red Son created it and was uncontrollable to the point that the Demon Bull Family was forced to seal it away in three rings. After telling their story, DBK and Princess Iron Fan went to rest in the living room. MK realized that DBK kept his [[Green Ring of Samadhi|ring]] and fashioned it as his nose ring. MK formulated a plan to stay at their fortress and steal the ring from DBK, while Sandy and Mei would find a vehicle to make their escape. The plan was put into motion and MK successfully stole the ring and Mei and Sandy had stolen a vehicle to escape with. Though DBK, was awoken, they managed to leave unharmed. DBK and Princess Iron Fan contemplated the state of the world if the Samadhi Fire was to be reforged. 

==== [[Benched]] ====
The Monkie Kids were given the [[Blue Ring of Samadhi]] by [[Chang'e]]. So they went to [[Lantern City]] to retrieve the last [[Orange Ring of Samadhi|ring]]. After stepping into Lantern City, they discussed their plan to perform in a music competition and hopefully win the last ring. Unbeknowst to them, Macaque heard their plans to reforge the Samadhi Fire. He waited in the [[Giant Lantern]] at the center of the city. Tang went to the lantern to get the last ring. He and Tang met in the Giant Lantern and discussed Tang's role of being left behind, mirroring his own past. Tang, however, revoked these claims and used his powers to get the ring and escape. Tang regrouped with the others while Macaque was incapacitated. The Monkie Kids escaped from Lantern City. Lady Bone Demon appeared to punish Macaque for failing in his mission. Macaque as a last resort, told her about the Samadhi Fire. She spared him for the meantime and took temporary possession of Macaque. Macaque suddenly gained her powers and crystallized the entirety of Lantern City. 

==== [[The Samadhi Fire]] ====
Corrupted Macaque made his presence known to the Monkie Kids, as they escaped from Lantern City and ventured towards [[Mystic mountain]]. While the Monkey King fought Ne Zha due to their disagreement about the Samadhi Fire, corrupted Macaque made a move to incapacitate them for the time being and pursue the Monkie Kids. He took Mei as a hostage and forced Tang to activate the ritual to create the Samadhi Fire. Unknown to both the Monkie Kids and Macaque, Mei was the last "ring" of the Samadhi Fire. Monkey King tried to prevent these events, but the ritual was successful and the Samadhi Fire was reforged in Mei. Due to the Samadhi Fire's resurgence in Mei, her powerful flames released Macaque from the Lady Bone Demon's possession. Monkey King nearly striked Macaque out of anger. Macaque stayed, as the revelation of Monkey King hiding Mei's role as the last piece of the Samadhi Fire was revealed. He stayed as she released her all emotions and the powerful Samadhi Fire, but eventually left through a shadow portal.

The Brotherhood prepared to execute their plan to reshape the Mortal Realm, but their hasty move to eliminate the Jade Emperor and underestimate his powers led to Azure Lion struggling with his newfound powers, endangering the universe. Azure Lion believed that Monkey King was obstructing his progress, prompting an attack on Monkey King, the Monkie Kids, and Macaque at Flower Fruit Mountain in an attempt to eradicate Monkey King, despite his immortality. With Azure Lion losing control over the Jade Emperor's power, the universe faced destruction until Azure Lion sacrificed himself to restore balance. Following the battle, the Brotherhood was permanently disbanded.
