“Legend says that my grandfather imbued it with unimaginable power so that our clan would always have the strength of the dragon to protect them. Its true power will only show itself to those deemed worthy, a true member of our clan who's proven themselves strong enough to protect our family from the forces of evil.” |
— Mei[src] |
The Jade Dragon Blade is the heirloom of the Dragon Clan, which is a legendary sword that Mei uses to fight against Demons.
History[]
Coming Home[]
The Jade Dragon Blade was on display in the Dragon Claw Chamber in the Dragon House.
When Mei was house-sitting, she showed her friends Sandy and MK around, who were very impressed by the sword. She described that the blade was forged long ago by her ancestor, the Dragon of the West, and that it's true power could only be wielded by those it deemed worthy. Mei also said that she wasn't allowed to touch it. When General Ironclad tried to steal the blade, Mei raced him to get it back.
As Mei reclaimed the blade, she had a vision of her ancestors criticizing her but she regained her confidence, announcing that she was a part of the Dragon Family and that the sword was hers. She used the blade to blast General Ironclad out of her house, proving she was worthy of the Dragon Blade.
Noodles or Death[]
Mei used the blade to slice through the Spider Queen's webs in Silken Web Cave.
Skeleton Key[]
After Mei jumped out of her bike to retrieve the Skeleton Key from Red Son, Mei used the Dragon Blade to destroy the Inferno Truck.
The End is Here![]
When entering the Flaming Foundry, Mei used the Dragon Blade to save her and MK from falling into the foundry.
Revenge of the Spider Queen[]

- The reforged blade was modeled after Azure Lion's sword.[2]
- Concept art shows that the blade was originally twin jade sickles.[3]
- The Dragon of the East has a similar sword to the Dragon Blade, with the blade being blue instead of green.
- The sword's blade is instead pink in the sets.
- The Dragon Blade is the only main weapon used by the Monkie Kids not to originally belonged to any of the pilgrims. Instead, it originally belonged to the Dragon of the West, Ao Lie's father.
