- As of this special, Monkie Kid's 44 minute specials began to conclude as a season finale instead of a season premiere.
- This is the second special to be released both in full and split into four separate episodes, similar to "Revenge of the Spider Queen" which was also released in some regions as a four-part special.
- In some international versions of the show such as the Czech, Dutch and Swedish dubs, the name of this special is translated based on the first chapter of the special ("This Imperfect World") instead of the special's actual name.
- In the Italian version, the name of the special is "Il tempo dei guerrieri" ("Time of the Warriors"), which seems to be translated from the third chapter's episode title "Time to Be Warriors."
- This is the first special to be released in English before its Chinese debut.
- The special was released in the United States via search on streaming services before the official launch on March 10, 2023.[4]
- This special's trailer had some shots modified from the finished episode, such as changing Lady Bone Demon's dialogue in one scene and removing Red Son in another.
- Similar to the "Monkie Kid: A Hero is Born," this special features narration from Tang.
- This is the only special to not have any sets based specifically around it's events.
