— The Goldfish Demon[src] |
The Goldfish Demon is a fish demon.
History[]
Smartie Kid[]

The Monkie Kids mistakenly believed a dirty puddle owned by the Goldfish Demon was an oasis and wanted it, but the Goldfish Demon insisted they pay for the water. Mei pleaded with the Goldfish Demon, explaining that they were thirsty. The Goldfish Demon sarcastically responded by saying that if they were thirsty, they should have simply asked for water. He then allowed them to help themselves to the dirty puddle. However, Pigsy suggested that they buy something that could help them cross the desert faster. MK, intrigued by the idea, asked the Goldfish Demon what they could get with whatever he had in his pocket. Unamused, the Goldfish Demon informed them that it wouldn't get them anything worthwhile, one esxample being an engine for the T.E.A.. The Goldfish Demon then suggested that they could try to win an engine instead of buying it. The Goldfish Demon presented Desert Deal of the Day and clarified that the Monkie Kids needed to offer something valuable in order to win the engine. MK asked the Goldfish Demon about the consequences of losing, to which the Goldfish Demon responded that the winner would claim everything wagered, accompanied by an evil laugh.
With a swift motion, MK betted on the Dragon Blade. Mei hesitated, acknowledging the need for further strategizing before proceeding. However, before any further discussion can take place, the Goldfish Demon confidently accepted the wager and declared the start of the game. He introduces the game, One Shell Monty, where the player has to identify the bowl under which Monty was placed. the Goldfish Demon proceeded to shuffle the plates, secretly triggering the trap door for Monty to fall into. MK pointed towards the bowl on the right, indicating his choice. The Goldfish Demon lifted the chosen bowl, revealing that it was empty. Seizing the opportunity, the Goldfish Demon claimed his victory for the Dragon Blade. The Goldfish Demon proposed the idea of wagering again, suggesting that MK could put something of equal value to the Dragon Blade and the engine at stake. MK eagerly accepted the challenge and bet on the deed to Pigsy's Noodles. The Goldfish Demon was intrigued by MK's wager and accepted it, beginning the game again as he rigged it. MK confidently pointed to the middle bowl as his answer. The Goldfish Demon lifted the bowl in question, revealing that MK had lost the wager. The Goldfish Demon taunted MK, daring him to try again.
MK's luck appeared to had run out as he lost every round of One Shell Monty, betting on Monkey Cop action figures, Mo, Tang's book, Monkey King, and other valuable items. The Goldfish Demon taunted the Monkie Kids, acknowledging their unfortunate situation. Pigsy advised MK to let it go, as they had nothing else left to bet. The Goldfish Demon agreed, boasting about having all the treasures in the world as a goldfish. However, MK realized that he still had one last thing to wager - his friends, believing that friendship was the most valuable thing of all. The Goldfish Demon hesitated, unsure about the unconventional wager, but eventually agreed, seeing an opportunity to gain servants. The Goldfish Demon once again rearranged the bowls randomly until he was done. MK calmly pointed out that Monty was hidden beneath the bowl placed in the center of the table. The Goldfish Demon was in disbelief as he saw Monty, unable to comprehend how his secret had been unveiled. MK proceeded to explain that the Goldfish Demon had been cheating throughout the entire ordeal. Reluctantly, the Goldfish Demon handed over the engine to the Monkie Kids.
Personality[]
The Goldfish Demon is known for his duplicitous and insincere demeanor, driven solely by his desire to collect all the world's treasures, with little regard for others. His cynical view of friendship is evident in his plan to enslave the Monkie Kids when they were about to lose the final round of his game show, which is in stark contrast to MK's belief that friendship is the most valuable thing in the world. The Goldfish is also willing to cheat just to win his game.
Appearance[]
The Goldfish Demon has pale turquoise skin with a white lower jaw and chest. He also has dark turquoise eyebrows, and all of his fins are salmon colored. For clothing, he has a dark turquoise loincloth, which is attached to a golden belt wrapped around his waist.
Relationships[]
Monkie Kids[]

The Goldfish Demon is one of the known adversaries of the Monkie Kids. Upon meeting them for the first time, the Goldfish Demon conned the heroes when they participated in Desert Deal of the Day, so he could gain possession of all of their valuables. When MK wagered his friends to the Goldfish Demon, the latter attempted to make them be his servants if he won. But after MK and the others learned the truth, the demon was met with an infuriated Mei, Pigsy, and Tang, and had no choice but to give them the engine for the T.E.A..
