LEGO Group's Annual Blockbuster New Product Live Broadcast Release Ceremony (乐高集团年度重磅新品直播发布盛典, "Lègāo jítuán niándù zhòng bàng xīnpǐn zhíbò fābù shèngdiǎn") was the launch[1] event for Monkie Kid. It broadcasted all throughout China from the Shanghai Art Bund Museum[2] on May 15, 2020.[3][4] Several teaser posters were released leading up to the event.[5][6]

- Despite Tang already being included in the animation[9], he didn't receive promotional posters and was not included in the team welcome intro, presumably because he didn't exist as a minifigure yet.
