“Legends say that Lantern City was once a desolate village, until Monkey King thrust the Ring of Light into the Earth, transforming the city into the prosperous metropolis it is today.”

Lantern City is a large city in China.

History[]

Past[]

Over five-hundred years ago, Lantern City started out as a small village, until one day, Monkey King threw the orange Ring of Samadhi into the Earth. The villagers discovered the ring and believed that it was a gift for them. The village soon became Lantern City and every year, the people would celebrate the Ring of Light Festival, a celebration honoring the Monkey King's gift to them.
