“Lady Bone Demon would like a word. Oh, and she'll be needing that.” |
— The Mayor[src] |
The magic lantern was a lamp used by Macaque.
History[]
Shadow Play[]
While showing a shadow play about himself and Monkey King, Macaque used the magic lantern to imprison MK's friends, and later used it to make the shadow counterparts to fight MK. After the fight, Macaque broke the lantern, freeing its prisoners, and left, only to later return to get it back. However, he got confronted by the Mayor, who claimed that the Lady Bone Demon needed the lantern.
Abilities[]
- Shadow absorption - The magic lantern could absorb the shadows of its victims. While absorbing the shadow, the user of the lantern could control the victim, with them being partly conscious, as shown by Tang. The only known way to free the victim is to destroy the lantern.
