Past[]
Long ago, Princess Iron was once a goddess from the Celestial Realm and served the Jade Emperor, along with Ne Zha and Erlang. However, during the assault on the Celestial Realm, Princess Iron Fan fell in love with the Demon Bull King, rejecting her role as a Celestial Maiden and became a demon to be with DBK.[2]
Princess Iron Fan eventually married the Demon Bull King and they had a son together, whom they called Red Son.[3] Sometime later, the Monkey King stole Princess Iron Fan's Magic Fan to put out the fire from the Flaming Mountains. During a fight, Monkey King later sealed away Iron Fan's husband in a mountain for five hundred years, leaving her and their son to try to find a way to free him for the next five hundred years.[4]
Monkie Kid: A Hero is Born[]
MK accidentally walked in on Princess Iron Fan and Red Son making the final adjustments to free D.B.K. However, she and Red Son notice Bob attempting to pull the Golden Staff off a mountain but ended up having his arms ripped off as result. Princess Iron Fan then watches Red Son telling Bob that only people who are deemed worthy can lift the Monkey King's staff before watching him going to free the Demon Bull King himself. Although, once Red Son noticed nothing happened after he was able to pull the staff off the mountain, he questions Princess Iron Fan if she knew what mountain trapped the Demon Bull King until the aforementioned person was freed. When Demon Bull King asked Princess Iron Fan on how she freed him, Princess Iron Fan attempts to speak before being interrupted by Red Son who announces that it was him who freed DBK while his mother rolled her eyes in annoyance. When Princess Iron Fan discovers that MK was overhearing the Demon Bull Family's conversation, she watches Red Son attempting to kill MK to show the Demon Bull King how powerful he became. When MK blocked Red Son's punch with the staff, Princess Iron Fan was surprised that MK was able to lift the staff and use it. After MK used the staff again, Princess Iron Fan tells him to hand the staff over, only for the former to escape.
At the Flaming Foundry, Princess Iron Fan tells the Demon Bull King not to get mad at Red Son for failing to retrieve the Golden Staff, as she already sent out Bull Clones to look for the staff. After MK's team managed to escape the Bull Clones, she taunts her infuriated son by using her power to reel him in and squeezes his face while claiming that she will take control of the situation and retrieve the staff herself.

Season 1[]
Bad Weather[]
When the Demon Bull King was taking his anger out by destroying parts of the Flaming Foundry, Princess Iron Fan tells him to calm down and be patient.
Coming Home[]
At the Flaming Foundry, Princess Iron Fan contacted General Ironclad to bring her the Dragon Blade.
The Great Wall Race[]
At the Flaming Foundry, Red Son tells Princess Iron Fan about the prize of the Great Wall Race. However, Princess Iron Fan rejects Red Son's idea, as she and the Demon Bull King would rather dig up the energy source they discovered than get one of the Peaches of Immortality. Although, Princess Iron Fan and the Demon Bull King changed their minds at the last minute so they can beat Red Son.
During the race, Princess Iron Fan and the Demon Bull King had to go through a mountain to complete the race, as they couldn't get through one of the race's quick turns. However, when Princess Iron Fan mentions the Demon Bull King's experiences with mountains, the Demon Bull King had no other choice but to forfeit the race.
Skeleton Key[]
After the Bull Clones were able to dig up the tomb, Princess Iron Fan attempts to figure out how to open it after the Demon Bull King failed to. However, she wasn't able to open it as well, as the tomb required a magical key to unlock it.
When MK was able to get the Skeleton Key from Red Son, Princess Iron Fan arrives and engages in a battle with MK and Mei until she overpowers them, allowing Red Son to get the Skeleton Key again and escape with Princess Iron Fan.
Once Princess Iron Fan and Red Son were able to retrieve the Skeleton Key, the Demon Bull King uses it to unlock the tomb. However, Princess Iron Fan and Red Son discovered that there was nothing inside until a blue spirit went inside the the Furnace, taking control of the Demon Bull King and the Bull Clones.

Season 2[]
Sweet 'n' Sour[]
Bound by a blood oath with the Gold and Silver Demons, Princess Iron Fan assumed the role of one of the three judges in the second round of Food Wars to settle the debt. Contrary to MK's belief, Princess Iron Fan had no intention of engaging in a fight with him. She was disinterested and clarified that her sole purpose was to resolve the debt, while also regretting the blood oath she had made. Princess Iron Fan discovered that the second judge would be none other than Monkey King. However, to the surprise and confusion of both Princess Iron Fan and everyone else, it turned out that the supposed Monkey King was nothing more than a simple cardboard cutout. Princess Iron Fan received a serving of dim sum from the Gold and Silver Demons, which contained Mystery Meat, accompanied by deep-fried spring rolls and an assortment of sauces. Despite finding the dim sum unappetizing, she reluctantly decides to rely on their recommendation and accepts it. Princess Iron Fan sampled a piece Xinjiang pulled noodle soup and was captivated by its flavors. Nonetheless, she ultimately made the decision not to cast her vote in favor of his restaurant. Instead, she choose Speedy Panda.
As the third round began, Pigsy's Noodles and Speedy Panda charged towards each other with fierce determination, fully prepared for an intense battle. Princess Iron Fan, on the other hand, couldn't help but regret returning for Season 2.
