Synopsis[]

This description was taken from official source. Do not modify it.

As the Brotherhood prepare their assault on the Celestial Realm, the heroes must train if they have any chance of saving the world![1]

Plot[]

The Brotherhood held Princess Iron Fan and Red Son hostage as Azure Lion tried to convince the Demon Bull King to join him. However, the Demon Bull King tells Azure Lion that his desire to conquer the Celestial Realm had changed him. Azure Lion replied that the Demon Bull King he knew in the past was a strong demon, but his love for Princess Iron Fan had softened him. This angered the Demon Bull King, who attacked the three brothers. To stop him, Azure Lion attempt to use the Scroll of Memory to imprison the Demon Bull King. Princess Iron Fan blocks the attack, but one of the pieces of the scroll hits her arm. As Princess Iron Fan was imprisoned, the Demon Bull King tried to attack Azure Lion, but the Scroll of Memory hits him as well. The three demons spared Red Son, who went to the Celestial Realm to warn Ne Zha.

Meanwhile, Pigsy, Tang, Mei and Sandy are being trained by Master Subodhi at the Temple of the Tilted Moon and Three Stars. He tells them that they need a lot of work and marks out their flaws except for Sandy, who he says is perfect and gives him a silver star. That causes the others to be jealous and want a star too.

MK is at Flower Fruit Mountain, where he ecounters a little monkey. MK remembers how the other monkeys got trapped in the Scroll of Memory, expressing guilt.

While training the Monkie Kids, Master Subodhi addresses them, explaining that they are currently like rough stones, but he will transform them into chiseled, refined ones. However, he singles out Sandy as already being sufficiently chiseled and awards him another star, much to the other Monkie Kids' resentment.

Tang expresses his lack of self-confidence, but Master Subodhi disagrees and points out that Tang's issue is his lack of skill. Although Tang has demonstrated great skills in the past, he is unreliable due to his laziness. Master Subodhi reminds Tang of the Great Monk, who was known for being a master of the mystical arts. While he was rigid and humorless, his focus on his studies allowed him to learn without distractions. Master Subodhi encourages Tang to study and not rely on luck to achieve his goals. Mei sparred with the students as Master Subodhi emphasizes the significance of balance and control, citing the example of Ao Lie, who exercised caution despite possessing immense power. Mei, however, exhibits impatience and impulsiveness, prompting Master Subodhi to caution her about the potential consequences of her actions. He encourages her to slow down and think, highlighting her potential for greatness. When Mei inquires about her progress, Master Subodhi asserts that she must earn her star through hard work and dedication.

Master Subodhi commends Sandy's progress and awards him another star, but observes that Sandy's kindness may be a hindrance to his growth, to which Sandy takes as a complement. Master Subodhi then approached Pigsy, who appeared hesitant to receive any of the Master's teachings. Drawing a comparison to Zhu Bajie, who was similarly stubborn at first, the master attempted to encourage Pigsy. However, Pigsy felt offended by the comparison and believed he was being judged for his appearance. Master Subodhi clarified that Zhu Bajie had his flaws but eventually grew into a caring and powerful ally. He acknowledged Pigsy's potential and placed a star on him, indicating that he had barely scratched the surface of his abilities. Master Subodhi encouraged Pigsy to work hard and develop his heart and power, recognizing his potential for greatness.

Master Subodhi addressed the Monkie Kids, stating that by breaking free from their self-doubt and fear, they will unlock their full potential and become unstoppable, reminding that the Monkie Kids possess the power to overcome any obstacle and fulfill their destiny as protectors of the universe.

At Flower Fruit Mountain, MK and the monkey were eating bananas. MK expresses his contemplation on whether Monkey King ever felt the same way, leading him to stay on the mountain and enjoy the company of his monkey friends. Alternatively, Macaque suggests that Monkey King was simply being his lazy self. MK becomes frustrated with Macaque's teasing and glitches his monkey form. However, Macaque persists and invites MK to see something.

Meanwhile, Azure Lion gazes upon the devastation of Camel Ridge. He is joined by Peng, who was eager to depart from the desolate terrain. As the Brotherhood prepare to leave, they used the ancestral weapons to teleport to the Celestial Realm, where they are met by the Celestial Armies, Ne Zha, and Red Son. Ne Zha warned Azure Lion that he is not welcome in the Celestial Realm, advising him to leave the realm, or face the consequences. Azure Lion remains steadfast in the mission to end the Jade Emperor's regime, and the two sides engage in a fierce battle.
