Season 5 is the fifth season of Monkie Kid.

The trailer was first released on May 10, 2024 on Chinese social media sites such as Bilibili and Weibo. The season eventually premiered a month later on June 28, 2024 in China and July 10, 2024 in the United States. This season contains ten episodes.

Trivia

• Much like Seasons 3 and 4, this season's English-language broadcast was first seen on Cartoon Network Korea before the entire season was released via The Lego Channel's search results on Roku.
• Starting with this season, many studios have changed during production:
  • The animation is handled by WildBrain Studios, with Season 4 being the last season to have Flying Bark Productions' involvement.
    • The animation is also outsourced to the Malaysian studio Inspidea. The animation is done via rigs provided by WildBrain Studios. This is a different pipeline compared to the hand-drawn ink and paint work done by Digitoonz during Flying Bark's work on the show.
  • The sound design is now being handled by Vaudeville Sound Vancouver instead of Frank Sound in Australia.
  • Despite this, The D.A's Office and NYAV Post still handle the music composition and voice recordings, and several of Flying Bark's shots are recycled.
