History

Shadow Play

Feeling that MK had earned a break, Pigsy, Tang, and Mei brought him to see a shadow play. They all saw that the Mayor was also in the audience. After MK left the theater to get snacks from the lobby, Macaque, who had disguised himself as a puppeteer, trapped them within his magic lantern. When MK came back, he watched a performance of "The Hero and the Warrior".

Later in the day, MK returned to the shadow play. Macaque revealed himself to MK, and they engaged in a battle, breaking the floor of the theater. After Macaque went back to retrieve his magic lantern, the Mayor appeared and captured him.

• The appearance of the alley at the exit of the shadow play is often used for other locations, as it was used for the alleyway the little girl was at during "The End is Here!", and later used for the exit of Lantern City's auditorium in "Benched" when Tang left to get the Ring of Light.
• The interior of the theater has pillars resembling the Golden Staff.
