TVNZ

MK holds the key to an ancient gate that DBK's family wants to unlock. It's a game of cat and mouse as the family tries to get the key from our heroes.[1]

Extended

Demon Bull King’s family has found a mysterious power source that will allow the brute to reclaim his former glory. However, whatever this strange item is, it’s locked behind an impervious ancient gate. A gate that needs a key… the same key that was given to MK as a ‘thank you’ for saving the city over and over. Now it’s a game of cat and mouse as DBK’s family tries to get the key and our heroes attempt to keep it out of their hands.
Unfortunately, MK fails and the DBK family runs away with the key. Now with a new power source, there’s no telling what trouble Demon Bull King is about to inflict on the world![2]

Plot[]

At the Flaming Foundry, the Bull Clones continued to dig up the energy source that the Demon Bull King discovered until one of them manages to reveal the tomb. However, once they did, the Demon Bull Family attempted to open the tomb but failed, as it acquired a magical key to unlock it.

At Pigsy's Noodles, the Mayor gives the Key to the City to MK and tells him about the powers of the key, to unlock any known lock.

After receiving the key, MK and Mei used it to go to several places in Megapolis and have fun until MK realizes what the key is really capable of. Unfortunately, after MK and Mei pulled a prank on Pigsy by using the key, Red Son steals the key from MK and escapes using his Inferno Truck. MK and Mei go after Red Son and almost manage to get the key back until Princess Iron Fan arrives and fights them off, allowing Red Son to get the key again and escape with her.

At the Flaming Foundry, the Demon Bull King uses the key to open the tomb and sees what's inside it. However, once he did, he, Princess Iron Fan, and Red Son realized that there was nothing inside but bones until the energy source went inside the Demon Bull King's armor, taking control of the Demon Bull King and the Bull Clones.

Trivia[]

  • This episode was adapted into a comic book in Monkie Kid Comic Story 4.
  • The tiger MK and Mei release has the same design as Monkey King when transformed into a tiger.

Errors[]

  • In the shot where Red Son listens to jazz as he drives away, the Inferno Truck is shown with a rear-view mirror, which the vehicle doesn't have.
    • This is less an error and more of an intentional addition as the rear-view mirror allows him to see the quickly approaching Mei, leading into the next shot.
