(In the Celestial Pagoda, MK begins to harness the Jade Emperor's power. Li Jing enters the pagoda and teleports the Monkie Kids into the Jade Emperor's throne room.)
Monkey King: Kid!
Li Jing: Get back!
Monkey King: No!
Ne Zha: Father!
Tang: Where's MK?
Li Jing: The pagoda! We have to seal it.
Pigsy: What are you doing? He's still in there!
Ne Zha: What's going on?
Li Jing: The child must be contained.
Monkey King: Kid!
MK: No, I can do this. I can do this.
Li Jing: The Jade Emperor's power. Impossible. You have doomed us, boy.
MK: Enough!
Li Jing: Impossible. (Ne Zha gets in the way.) What are you doing? This boy has taken the power of the Emperor. The guardians are gone because of them. The world has no hope left.
Ne Zha: Control yourself. They are not the enemy. He is not the enemy.
Mei: He sure seems like it.
Ne Zha: You say there is no hope. Look at this child. He is the only hope we have left.
Li Jing: These monkeys have brought nothing to us but chaos and destruction.
Tang: Uh, just chiming in. The world was getting all cracky before we took the stones.
Ne Zha: The Jade Emperor was already weakened.
Macaque: Someone has been working towards all of this.
Ne Zha: Father, I have obeyed your orders dutifully for lifetimes. I trusted you knew what was best. Now I need you to trust me.
MK: I know you're trying to carry it all. It's all fallen to you to hold everything together. But I know how to fix this. I can fix it.
Ne Zha: Father, please.
Li Jing: Very well.
Pigsy: Okay, we're all on the same side, right? So what do we do now?
Ne Zha: You have the five stones in your possession, correct?
Monkey King: Yeah, we've been collecting them. But just so whoever the bad guy is can't get them.
Li Jing: Then you have no plans?
MK: No, I know where we need to go.
Li Jing: How? What is your plan?
MK: The guardians gave me the stones, all except the Jade Emperor. But they showed me what I need to do. The only choice we have…we need to go back to the temple at the Burning Mountain. That's where we fix everything.
Monkey King: Kid…
Pigsy: MK…
MK: There's no time to argue. You have to do this, now.
(MK teleports everyone to the Temple of Nüwa, bewildering the Monkie Kids.)
Mei: Did you just teleport?
Pigsy: Okay, did anyone else know that he could do that?
Li Jing: The Goddess...
Tang: Are you sure you know what you're doing?
Mei: MK.
Monkey King: Kid.
Ne Zha: Is that…
Li Jing: The Pillar of Heaven.
Pigsy: I think it's working. The kid was right. You did it. (MK hugs Pigsy.) What? Kid. What are you not telling me?
(The Court of the Underworld arrive.)
First King: Stop this madness! Only the Harbinger can use the stones to heal the pillar.
Tenth King: But don't you see? That's exactly what this child is, the Harbinger of Chaos.
First King: The Harbinger is not due to awaken for another eon, til the cycle's end.
Tenth King: Fool. The cycle's end is here.
First King: It was you?
Tenth King: (He uses his powers on the Court of the Underworld.) Don't struggle. You'll only make it worse. (The Court of the Underworld disintegrate.) Finally. I couldn't stand to be among those fools a minute longer.
Li Jing: You are not one of the kings, demon.
Monkey King: Who are you?
Tenth King: It's funny they kept saying you were chaos. They never knew a creature from the Chaos Beyond was standing next to them all this time. Oh, let me guess. "Ooh, wonder what's under the hood? Who could it be?" I can tell the suspense is killing it. Here comes the big reveal. (He reveals himself as the Nine-Headed Demon.) Kinda creepy but anticlimactic huh?
Mei: Hey, Monkey King, who is this guy?
Monkey King: I, like, have no idea.
MK: Huh? Okay. Wow, I'm very used to all of our enemies being just recycled your old enemies.
Mei: Or like your ex-best friends.
Nine-Headed Demon: Wukong, come on. We are old enemies. we're old friends, too. You just don't remember.
Ne Zha: What's he talking about?
Nine-Headed Demon: Ah, it doesn't matter. I am the Tenth King, the Prince Consort of Jisai, the Nine-Headed Demon, Xiangliu, the Emissary. The list goes on. The name's not really important. Not now. It's all about to be over.
Mei: Not if we have something to say about it.
