The Samadhi Fire is the tenth episode of Season 3 and the thirtieth episode overall of Monkie Kid.
Synopsis[]
Short DescriptionLong kept secrets come out as the Samadhi Fire is reforged. Something terrible is happening to Mei, and the heroes' team is pushed to breaking point![1] ExtendedNow the ritual has been started, it can't be stopped. Worse, something is happening to Mei! Ancient secrets are revealed as Monkey King finally tells the heroes the truth: there is a fourth ring! All of the Samadhi Fire is absorbed into Mei, and there are now two unstoppable forces for the heroes to contend with. The Monkie Kid team is pushed to breaking point, and nothing will be the same![2] |

- The glowing bug seen here and in "Benched" is presumably some form of the Golden Cicada. In Journey to the West, the Golden Cicada, after 9 previous lives, was reincarnated as Tang Sanzang.
- When Monkey King pulls back to punch him, Macaque turns his head to the left, further alluding to his right eye being damaged.
- The Samadhi Fire ritual appears slightly differently here than how it was recounted by the Demon Bull King in The First Ring.
