The yellow Color Stone was one of the five Color Stones.
History[]
Past[]
In addition to the other stones, the yellow Color Stone was by Nüwa to repair the Pillar of Heaven following its damage, thereby averting the destruction of the universe. Subsequently, while the other four stones were distributed to the Four Symbols, the responsibility of protecting the yellow Color Stone was bestowed upon the Jade Emperor. The yellow Color Stone took the form of a vital energy core that the Jade Emperor would harness. However, during the Jade Emperor's reign, concerns arose within the Brotherhood regarding his reluctance to utilize his powers for the greater good of humanity, leading the Brotherhood to contemplate overthrowing him for his power in order to bring positive change to the mortal realm.
The Jade Emperor[]
After killing the Jade Emperor, the universe began to crack before the power was transferred into the Azure Lion.
The Emperor's Wrath[]
Azure Lion's premature takeover of the Jade Emperor's power resulted in him facing difficulties in managing the overwhelming power that consumed his body. This struggle ultimately put the entire universe at risk of destruction. Azure Lion sacrificed himself to prevent further chaos caused by the uncontrollable power. However, the power continued to spiral out of control until Ne Zha intervened and sealed it away. Despite Ne Zha's efforts to contain the power, the universe remained in jeopardy due to the absence of a suitable host to properly harness the Power of the Jade Emperor. Additionally, the Pillar of Heaven suffered damage once again.
Into the Pagoda[]
After the final standoff with the Brotherhood, Li Jing made the decision to safeguard the Power of the Jade Emperor along with its seal within the highest tier of the Celestial Pagoda. However, MK soon discovered that the Power of the Jade Emperor was actually the yellow Color Stone. This realization prompted MK, along with the Monkie Kids and Monkey King, to venture into the Celestial Pagoda in search of the stone.
Inside the pagoda, MK managed to ascend to the top level where the seal was located. Determined to restore the power to its rightful form as the yellow Color Stone, MK broke the seal.
The Cage[]
As MK attempted to forge the yellow Color Stone, the Jade Emperor's power outputted immense energy, which broke the pagoda apart. MK successfully managed to restore the yellow Color Stone. After reforging the stones, he returned to the Pillar of Heaven and placed the Color Stones into the Statue of Nüwa.

Trivia[]
- Its appearance as the Jade Emperor's power may be a reference to the concept of a Golden Core (金丹) in Taoism.
